17. Last Journey Home Traditional song in the style of Amazing Grace - Lyrics and music by Barry Foot. True to its bagpipes and drums a full-on song of meaning and sentiment.

18. Too Much For My Heart  Classic Ballad (40's/50's style) - Lyrics and music by Barry Foot.

19. I Remember That Boy  Classic Ballad. This song was written with Tom Jones in mind, the composer was Steve Thompson. It would still be a good song for Tom it just needs an updated remix. I wrote masses of songs with Steve Thompson, he has been composer to some of the big names in his day (Celine Dion and Elaine Page to name but two). Some of our songs were heard on a few Radio Stations some years back.

20. Fairytales  Soft Love Ballad. Lyrics and music by Barry Foot.

21. Take It From Me  Pop/Dance - Lyrics and music by Barry Foot. A bit of diversity here, the difference being, I wrote this song some years ago while watching the Eurovision Song Contest with France's entry, I thought I could do better than that French song for France, after so many knock backs from my UK efforts, so I wrote this there and then with the thought of getting my English words translated into French, but like most songwriters, thoughts are one thing and how on earth you get it from the song to the entry for France. No good for the UK though as I did the music too European.

22. Lovely In White  Classic Waltz Ballad - Lyrics by Barry Foot music by Clive Scott. A Father singing about his daughter on her wedding day and this song fits exactly.

23. The Ireland In Me Classic Irish Ballad - Lyrics by Barry Foot music by Mick West. I was working for The Pearl Assurance Company at their head office in High Holborn, London WC1 (now a big hotel) many years ago now. I was alone sitting in the staff coffee room, on the fourth floor just off the main staff dinning room, apart from a little Irish lady named Mary (I think). Many was a catering assistant, she had that great sense of humour that so many of the Irish have. One of the catering supervisors stuck her head out of one of the serving hatches shouting why after being told blah, blah, blah, had Mary made this mistake - or done whatever it was she had done - Mary replied quick as a flash "it must be the Irish in me". Looking at me as she shouted back and winking at me at the same time - so funny at the time (you should have been there).
I sat there thinking about what she had just said for a while, then I wrote the song The Ireland In Me with Johnny Logan in mind to sing it. I did get to Johnny Logan and his manager some years after writing it, but this is an even longer story, and not half as funny or as worthwhile remembering as the story of Mary's words that triggered me to write this song.

I thought I would end my small offering of songs rightfully with one of my earliest songs written with Clive Scott. Out of my hundreds of songs, choosing is the hardest part, so I've gone for a wide range of interest that I hope most will enjoy.
